A professional basketball player for Leganés in Madrid and former WNBA draft pick (26th overall, 2022), Maya is a fierce competitor known for her elite defense and relentless work ethic. From leading the ACC in blocks at Notre Dame to representing Team USA and captaining her country to FIBA bronze, Maya has proven herself at every level of the game.

But Maya is more than just a defensive anchor - she's breaking barriers as a multifaceted athlete who designed her own Engineering and Ethics major at Stanford and graduated as valedictorian. Her goal is to redefine what it means to be a woman in professional sports, proving that intelligence, athleticism, and purpose can coexist at the highest level.

With her international career taking flight, Maya plays with passion - driven by excellence, fueled by determination, and committed to inspiring the next generation of female athletes who refuse to be put in a box.
